I'm from Taipei, Taiwan, Chinese is my native language. I came to the States 3 years ago and got my masters degree at Drexel in Business. I started to become involved in Chinese teaching class about a year ago and I have great passion in it. I was volunteered at Tzu Chi (an organization in Philadelphia Chinatown) for teaching kids (range from 6 to 15 years old) Chinese. I believe to encourage students to love what they are learning is really important, therefore I always try to make the material as interesting as possible and interact with them. Depending on the students' ages, I put in many cultural topics and stories into my teaching for kids. I can also put recent news and business related topics in to my teaching. I am a fun, easy going teacher, please contact me if you want to learn Chinese. I am available to teach during the day, after school, and some weekends. I can drive to the student's home or to a cafe.
