Experience
I've been a tutor and have worked as a college professor for 3 years. Working in places like Temple and Drexel University, I work hard at and personally enjoy turning challenging subjects into more simple concepts. Every person has a specific learning style and I can even help them find their own. I tutor various subjects including many math concepts. These include elementary and middle school math to statistics, geometry, linear algebra, up to finite mathematics. I can also help in reading, writing, phonics, grammar, and test prep at any level. The PSAT, SAT, and GRE are my areas of expertise. My personal promise is to spend time answering questions and that my clients will enjoy the process of learning and being tutored. I actually take laughing and smiling very seriously. They can actually boost grades! Currently, I work as a research assistant at Columbia, UPenn, and Yale and reside in New York City. I conduct my studies in discovering strategies to improve educational performance. Having so much insight into learning gives me a solid edge as a tutor. When not tutoring, teaching, or researching, I unwind in my spare time by rock climbing, meditating, and by playing chess.
